Sharing Christ is what we do best!

The care provided for children by the staff at Our Savior goes beyond simple or programmed techniques.  Our teachers care about the whole child - mind, body, and spirit.  They joyfully share the love of Christ with their students every day.  When children learn they are loved - by God and by others - they learn to love Him and each other.  They can flourish in an environment of security and kindness, watched over by our Good Shepherd Who knows them each by name.

Classes at Our Savior are available to children from age 3 through grade 8.  In the 2017-2018 school year, we will offer a multi-grade approach to learning in grades K-8.

Class sizes are small at Our Savior and provide a genuine "family feeling".  This is one of the hallmarks of our program and a definite plus for students.  This approach gives the children the wonderful advantages of both the "homeschool" and the "classroom" atmosphere every day.  Students learn and grow together under the guidance of our uniquely qualified teachers.

Our teachers are all State of Michigan Certified, some with advanced degrees.  All are gifts to us from God!

The Role of Parents

We are dedicated to the principle that Christian education begins at home with Christian parents. Our goal is to support parents in their God-given role as the primary and most important teachers in their child's life.

Enrichment Classes

Weekly classes in Health and Physical Education contribute to each student's physical well- being.  Art is also part of the curriculum and is a favorite of the students.  This year, the students will learn some additional "life skills" like sewing, cooking, and more!    Regular weekly Music Classes are a part of the curriculum too. Taught by staff and talented volunteers, these avenues give the children excellent, God- pleasing ways to express their creativity.

Students in grades 2-8 are tested each spring using the Iowa Test of Basic Skills.  We are pleased to report that they score very well nationally!
